Emigrant Widerness ~ August 2005 - Still energized by all those colorful sprouts from plentiful winter rain, I sauntered around the Emigrant Wilderness (just north of Yosemite) for five days with my home on my back and my camera to my eye. No doubt it's beautiful in the high country, 8500'. Read the trip report.
